Attorney DiBlasi received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Magna Cum Laude from Boston University in 1989. While there, he was inducted into the Golden Key National Honor Society and Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society. He was the co-founder and officer of the Local Students' Union which became the largest residential government on campus. He also received the prestigious Scarlet Key Award for extraordinary achievement in student activities and organizations which is awarded to less than one percent of the students. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor degree from New England School of Law in Boston where he was a Dean's List student.
While a law student, he worked as a student-intern for an alternative dispute resolution provider, served as a law clerk for the general counsel's office at a large university, and served as a law clerk in the litigation and bankruptcy departments at a very large law firm in Boston. Upon graduating from law school in 1992, Attorney DiBlasi served as Special Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Revere and then accepted a position as an Associate for a general practice law firm in Revere, Massachusetts.
In 1995, he returned to his hometown of North Reading, Massachusetts and opened his private law practice. He has successfully appeared in the district, superior, housing, land, and family and probate courts, as well as in the Massachusetts Appeals Court, and the Supreme Judicial Court. He also frequently uses alternative methods of dispute resolution, such as mediation and arbitration, to his clients' advantage where appropriate.
A true believer in the popular expression, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure", and knowing that individuals who seek legal help often do so after there has been irreparable damage, Attorney DiBlasi has written self-help books on landlord-tenant law, wills, and corporations to provide needed legal information at the very earliest stages. His latest book, entitled Sell Your Home Without A Broker is a national publication that assists those homeowners who seek to sell their homes by themselves. He also has been a guest speaker for various civic groups and has been featured on local television and radio programs and in newspaper articles.
